Vow to be born in Amitabha Buddha's Pure Land

       Amitabha Buddha established a pure land called "The Land of Ultimate Bliss", which is situated billions of galaxies away from us in the west. Amitabha, means the enlightened one, who has infinite longevity and infinite light radiating from his body.

       The beings in the Pure Land are born by metaplasia in lotus blossom, with perfect facial expressions; infinite ecstasy, but with no suffering in their life time. This is the reason why it was called  "The Land of Ultimate Bliss".

       In the Pure Land, hallways and paths alike are built by gold, silver and crystals. Divine birds give the teaching of the Dharma in the treasure-forest. Covered entirely by gold-sand at the bottom, pools of seven jewels are filled with water of merit and virtue. Pavilions are all built by the noble decoration. Multicolored lotus flowers are as big as wheels. Subtle fragrance cleanly shines the brilliances. Divine music is on all day-and-night. Everybody lives happily without any suffering. There is no obstacle of their practice to reach Buddhahood. And thus, all beings there shall become Buddha and be irreversible forever.

       Amitabha once set up the pledge :

      "All the beings, who make sincere vows to be reborn in my Pure Land and recite my name, shall eventually accomplish, except for those who have comitted one of the five unforgiveable sins or defamed the Buddha Dharma".

       That is why all the Buddhas and Bodisattvas in the whole universe are rejoicing and praising the great pledge of Amitabha and the merits of his Pure Land.

       One who recites Amitabha's name and prays to him shall yield the following immeasurable benefits:-

1.     All the Buddhas will provide protection at all times.

2.     You will become calm, possessed with great joy and auspicious dream.

3.     All disasters will disppear and all sins will be extinguished.

4.     There will be no sickness to cower over you, thus having perfect facial expression.

5.     Filled with blessings, wisdom and longevity.

6.     To lead the consciousness of the dead beings to be reborn in the Pure Land.

7.     Be reborn in the Land of Ultimate Bliss if one recite the name of Amitabha whole heartedly when one is about to die.

       Everything arises from conditions, and cease to exist when conditions are gone. However, the nature of conditions is void. Therefore, nothing is real - just like the image in the mirror, it is only a combination of light, mirror and object. Similarly, our physical body composed of hundreds of organisms and our thought changes all the time. Conditions exist temporarily. Everything has no reality but just a name. However, cause-and-effects are precisely identified - just like body-and-shadow. Good deeds create happiness; wheres evil creates sufferings. This is a simple nature of the universe : you create sound when you hit something. Causes and effects come from mind. Everything in the universe changes when we change our mind. In fact, the whole universe is created by our own mind ! If you want to get rid of all your suffering forever, you shall cultivate loving kindness and compassion, and recite the name of Amitabha diligently. When the omniscient nature of your mind are fully revealed, you will attain the realm of all Buddhas !

Recite the name of Amitabha , to reach our own Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Recite the name of Amitabha , to benefit all sentient beings.
